Independent Living Units
Our units are priced competitively to ensure that residents receive value for money. We recognise that moving into a unit will almost always require selling a family home, and our Residential Licence Agreement provides. All Licences are subject to a Deferred Management Fee which is described in detail, together with our terms and conditions of entry via our Public Information Document.

Residential Care
The majority of our Residential Care beds are governed by the Federal Commonwealth funding arrangements and residents pay an average of 85% of their Aged Pension towards the cost of care. Low Care beds are subject to an accommodation bond (subject to assets at the time). From July 1, 2006, the Federal Government no longer classified an Accommodation Bond as an asset, so applicants to care may well consider placing their assets with us to ensure that they may still be able to receive a full Government pension.
For those who have assets and pay an accommodation bond, the Government allows Aged Care providers to amortize against the bond at $299 per month (or a part thereof ), for a maximum of 60 months. At the end of the tenure of the resident, the Accommodation Bond, less any amortization, is returned to either the resident or their estate. For bonds over $30,000 we require a grant of probate to ensure the refund is paid to the legally correct recipient
