Seventh Day Adventist

For nearly thirteen years the Capricorn Adventist Aged Care has been operating at Yeppoon and during that time have developed a Village renown for its Care, Compassion and Quality. Our commitment to high quality care has earned us a reputation as an industry leader and our care for both residents and staff is highly sought after not only as a place to reside, but as a place to work.

We are committed to excellence in both policy and practice.

We recognise the vital role our staff play as being the face of aged care and it is our policy to continually train and equip our staff with new skills and industry specific training. It is highly sought after by families as a place where they know their loved ones will receive constant care and love.

Our Residential Care Facility has been operating for the past 10 years and allows residents to age-in-place. Our residents enjoy an active program to support their needs and accommodation that is supportive and comfortable. Some married accommodation is available.

Established grounds and plenty of open space characterise the Independent Living Units in our Village. We recognise that a retirement village is more than real estate and our village reflects the need for privacy, functionality and opportunity. We understand that the move to a retirement village may take some time to decide, but once made, many residents question why they did not make the move sooner!

Our village is built recognising the need for community. With plenty of space between units and recreational areas available within our grounds, there is plenty of opportunity for those who enjoy walking and watching wildlife.

Included in our village is a community centre, postal service, bus and library. There are regular outings to a wide range of interesting destinations at affordable prices. We operate regular bus trips to the local shopping centre, and if our timetable does not suit, public transport is available at the front gate.

Regular leisure activities are offered including croquet, boule, ten-pin bowing, crafts, computer classes etc…

Should you require any information please contact us by phone or e-mail and we would be pleased to help you.
