CARPET CLEANING
This is still progressing throughout the Village.
PEST CONTROL The annual pest control is due to commence in late October/early November. Amalgamated Pest Control will be visiting your unit to treat the inside with gel which treats cockroaches, silverfish and spiders. An outside liquid treatment will also occur to treat ants.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General ILU Residents meeting will be held in November at a date yet to be announced.
CYCLONE SEASON
It is that time of year again when we start to think about and prepare for severe storms and/or cyclones. Make sure that you have torches or other lighting that does not rely on electricity, and also a radio. If there is a threat of cyclone, residents are advised to move any items that may get blown around outside your unit (such as outdoor table and chairs) into your unit.
TREES
As you may have noticed we have commence tree trimming and removal of some dangerous tress this year. The project is costly so we have addressed areas in order of priority. The adjoining property behind units 72 - 77 Williams Way is a problem and the owners, the council and legal assistance have all be contacted. The matter is still being discussed with Head Office regarding the course of action to be taken.
NEW RESIDENTS
This month we welcome some new residence to our Village Family. We hope that you enjoy your new life here at C.A.R.V! |
