Melody Park Retirement Resort in close proximity to the Hinze Dam, which is currently undergoing a huge redevelopment.

Due to be opened in September 2011, the newly increased capacity of the dam will feature some new attractions including a new Information centre, new walking and cycling tracks and new picnic areas

Other areas close by include the Tambourine Mountains, Springbrook National Park and Binna Burra.
