For more than 30 years Adventist Aged Care has been operating at Victoria Point.
During that time it has developed a retirement village committed to excellence in care as an industry leader.
Historical highlights of our Village include:
| • |
An 80-bed Low Care (Hostel) facility has been operating for the past 20 years. Our residents enjoy an active program to support their needs |
| • |
Victoria House was opened in June 2003. Designed specifically as a non-institutional home, it is a 10-bed secure dementia unit that has become a benchmark in design and functionality |
| • |
Established grounds and plenty of open space characterise the 145 Independent Living Units in our Village. There’s a shop, hall, church, postal service, bus, library and a large lake within our 30 acre Village grounds |
| • |
Our holistic approach to life led us to adopt a smoke free policy into our Village on 1 July 2004. |
| • |
Our whole operation is based on Christian principles. We value the worth of our residents, however frail and dependent they may be, as valued by God. |
| • |
A 34-bed High Care (Nursing Home) facility was established in 1980. It is highly sought after by families as a place where they know their loved ones will receive constant care and love |
The Adventist Retirement Village, Victoria Point, is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is one of four retirement villages operated in Queensland by Seventh-day Adventist Aged Care (SQ) Ltd and part of a network of facilities operated by the church throughout Australia and New Zealand.
